Description

X42 Fire Pit – Corten

• Corten Steel: Corten steel arrives with a dark blue steel look that develops a patina over time when exposed to the elements. Over the first year and beyond, your corten steel fire pit will transform into a reddish iron oxide patina.

• Crowd Pleaser: With a 42″ interior diameter, this fire pit is perfect for large-scale gatherings. From vacation rentals to microbreweries and wedding reception halls, this capable fire pit can light & warm them all.

• Feast Like A King: This fire pit boasts room for 4 outpost rods, enabling you to use multiple Outpost grills, the sear disc, and the kettle hook all at once!

• Lid Included: This fire pit comes with a stainless steel lid to protect the fire pit from rain, debris, and the elements. The lid also doubles as a conversation table top when there is no fire. Easily place or remove the lid using the 4 convenient handles.

• Built-In Heat Shield: The built-in heat shield and added height counters the excess heat output beneath the fire pit due to the size, and allows the X42 to be used safely on dirt, sand or stone. Always elevate your fire pit over any heat sensitive surfaces.

• Smokeless Technology Expanded: An upgraded X Airflow system, and additional row of reburn holes allow for a smokeless fire on a larger scale.

What Makes Them Smokeless?

Fires smoke for 3 reasons: lack of heat, lack of oxygen, or the wrong fuel. The key to a smokeless system is creating more airflow and burning a hotter fire. So, what does smokeless mean exactly? Simply, it means less smoke. Breeo® fire pits are engineered to drastically reduce their smoke output, saving your eyes and the environment simultaneously.

Step 1 – X Airflow

The X Airflow raised vent design on the bottom of the fire pit enables oxygen to feed the fire even after significant ash build up.

Step 2 – Double Wall Technology

Air enters a cavity at the bottom into the double wall while the fire heats the walls. Hot air rises through the gap between the two walls as the fire burns.

Step 3 – Secondary Combustion

The hot air then exits the double wall through holes around the rim. This pressurized, heated oxygen mixes with the smoke and causes secondary combustion or reburn.
