Zentro Fire Pit Insert – Square

• Backyard Upgrade: This fire pit is designed with clean lines and an air of sophistication while maintaining the raw and primal aesthetic of real wood-fueled fire.

• Easy Installation: The Zentro fire pit is a one-piece insert that slides easily into a new or existing block, stone surround, or masonry.

• Lid Included: Included with each fire pit is a lid that keeps your Zentro fire pit protected from the elements when not in use.

• Built To Last: Each fire pit is made with heavy gauge 304 stainless steel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Each unit comes as a solid one-piece fire pit that weighs over 100 pounds!

• Smokeless Technology: The Zentro series features a double wall construction and secondary combustion holes for a smokeless burn. Added spacer brackets under the flange ensures maximum airflow. For optimal airflow, your fire pit surround should have a depth of at least 15 inches, allowing 3 inches of space between the bottom of the insert and the ground.

What Makes Them Smokeless?

Fires smoke for 3 reasons: lack of heat, lack of oxygen, or the wrong fuel. The key to a smokeless system is creating more airflow and burning a hotter fire. So, what does smokeless mean exactly? Simply, it means less smoke. Breeo® fire pits are engineered to drastically reduce their smoke output, saving your eyes and the environment simultaneously.

Step 1 – X Airflow

The X Airflow raised vent design on the bottom of the fire pit enables oxygen to feed the fire even after significant ash build up.

Step 2 – Double Wall Technology

Air enters a cavity at the bottom into the double wall while the fire heats the walls. Hot air rises through the gap between the two walls as the fire burns.

Step 3 – Secondary Combustion

The hot air then exits the double wall through holes around the rim. This pressurized, heated oxygen mixes with the smoke and causes secondary combustion or reburn.

1.) Block Surround

Measure the inside diameter of your block surround to ensure it will fit your Zentro 24″ Fire Pit. This fire pit needs an inside diameter of 27″-33″.

2.) Set Up Surround

The recommended depth of your block fire surround is at least 15″. This provides 3″ of air space underneath the fire pit insert for airflow. For additional protection, build the surround between 18″-20″ high and place a small layer of gravel or sand at the bottom of the stone surround before inserting the fire pit. Ensure that nothing touches the bottom or the sides of your Zentro Fire Pit, as this will affect airflow and interfere with the smokeless technology. Remove any debris or ashes from inside the block fire surround if necessary.

3.) Place Zentro

Remove your fire pit from the box. We recommend 2-3 people lift for placement. Set the fire pit into the block fire surround. The Zentro Fire Pit has 1/8″ spacer brackets welded to the underside of the top flange. Ensure that the Zentro spacer brackets are resting on the top layer of the block fire surround.
